Privacy policy

Cigogne is played offline, without a Cigogne account, ads or gameplay tracking. The free trial, lasting 24 hours from activation, and the lifetime purchase are managed by Apple.

Who is responsible?

Data in the game

The app does not collect or transmit your personal data to the developer. It includes no advertising, usage analytics or cross-app tracking SDK. It does not access your real location, contacts, microphone or photo library.

Your progress, records and settings are stored in the app's local files. They are not sent to a Cigogne server, sold or shared for advertising purposes.

The device clock is used locally to calculate flight, animate the world and synchronize sounds. This information stays on your device. Music and illustrations are included in the app.

Free trial and lifetime purchase

Trial activation, purchases and restoring access use the App Store. Apple processes these operations and payment information according to its privacy policy. Cigogne's developer does not receive your banking details.

The game uses transaction information supplied by Apple to verify access and trial duration. These checks do not transmit your progress to the developer. A connection is needed to activate the trial, buy or restore access; you can play offline afterwards.

Retention and deletion

Save files remain on your device while you use the game. Deleting the app erases its local files. Depending on your iOS settings, these files may also be included in an iPhone backup; those backups are managed and deleted separately through Apple.

You can also erase your progress using Restart the adventure… in advanced settings. This does not delete purchase history managed by Apple or reset the trial duration.

Cigogne has no user accounts or gameplay data held by the developer to delete remotely.

If you contact support

When you write to [email protected], your email address and the information you choose to include are used to answer your request and resolve reported issues. This processing serves the legitimate interest of providing support and improving how the game works.

Messages are forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to the developer's Gmail inbox, provided by Google. These providers may process messages in countries where they operate, under their terms and data protection safeguards. Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle and follow up on your request. You can request deletion by writing to the same address.

Do not send sensitive data or personal information that is not needed to understand your request.

When you visit this website

This website is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare. It includes no advertising tools, audience analytics or data collection forms. Fonts and images are served with the site.

To deliver and secure the pages, Cloudflare processes technical information, including IP addresses, request dates, requested pages and browser information. Cloudflare may use technical security mechanisms. This processing supports delivering and protecting the site; see the Cloudflare privacy policy for details.

The gameplay video

The video and its preview are hosted with the site and delivered by Cloudflare. The video loads when you choose to play it; no YouTube player is embedded in the page.

Apple and external links

App downloads, iOS backups and any diagnostics you choose to share with Apple are governed by your settings and Apple's privacy policy. When you open a support or privacy link from the game, the corresponding website opens in your browser.

Your rights

For information you provide to support, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of processing, and object to processing under the conditions set out in applicable regulations. Send your request to [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.

Changes to this policy

This page will be updated if Cigogne or its services change. The date at the top identifies the applicable version.
