A helping hand

Have a question, a tricky moment or a technical issue? Here are a few pointers to help you enjoy flying again.

Taking flight

Hold your iPhone in landscape. Use the joystick to steer and the Flap button to climb or take off. Swipe elsewhere on the screen to look around; return to the joystick to steer.

The first stages teach you to take off, glide, turn and fish. Then explore at your own pace, land and take flight again whenever you like.

Landing on a branch or bell tower

Aim for the perch as you approach and hold Brake to spread your wings and slow down. When your path and distance are right, the game assists the final part of your landing.

On a flexible branch, hold Bend, then release and use Flap as the branch springs back to make the most of its momentum.

Skimming and fishing

Steer with the joystick close to the water to spot fish and skim the surface. The Fish button appears near the water when a catch is possible. Hold it to prepare your move; approaching too fast can make you miss the fish.

The eye button hides guidance indicators. Controls remain visible; look for shadows and movement on the surface to spot fish.

Caring for your companion

Choose a nest and bring back food for your young stork. Share their first flights, then explore together. The journal in the pause menu reminds you of the next step, at your own pace.

When fishing is unavailable, the action button lets you call your companion or leave them at the nest, depending on the situation.

Adjusting sound and comfort

Settings start with the essentials: controls, comfort and sound. Open the Sound tab to adjust music, ambience and wind, wings and water, and actions and impacts separately. Default volumes restores the recommended balance.

The game respects your iPhone's silent mode. If you hear nothing, check this mode and your device volume. You can also adjust left-handed controls, camera comfort and haptics.

Keeping your progress

Progress and settings save automatically on your device, without a Cigogne account. Once access is activated, you can play offline. Avoid deleting the app to fix a problem: doing so would erase its local files.

To start over, open Advanced settings → Adventure → Restart the adventure…. A confirmation lets you cancel. Restarting erases progress but keeps your settings; it does not restart the trial or remove your purchase.

Trying the game for 24 hours

If you downloaded Cigogne before this update, you keep full access to the game for free.

New players can activate a free 24-hour trial in the game. It starts upon activation and gives access to the full adventure for one day. An App Store connection is needed to activate it; you can then play offline.

When the trial ends, continuing to play requires a one-time purchase of US$0.99 in the United States (€0.99 in France). There is no subscription or automatic charge. Your game stays saved, ready to continue after unlocking access.

Buying and restoring access

The lifetime purchase is offered in the game and confirmed by Apple. Your country's price is shown in the game before you confirm. An App Store connection is needed to buy or restore access.

If you have already unlocked the game, use Restore Purchases with the same Apple Account. Restoring a purchase restores game access; it does not recover a deleted local save.

Reporting a problem

Include your iPhone model, iOS version, Cigogne version and what happened just before the problem. A screenshot or short video can help; leave out unnecessary personal information.
